šŸ“± Passing the Torch: My Accidental Adventure into Social Media

For years, our Dispatch Instagram has been a delightful corner of the internet—filled with funny moments, product intros, and the occasional dose of cuteness. All credit goes to my daughter, Serena, who has been our social media manager since day one. She’s the creative genius behind the posts, the tone, and yes, even something called a ā€œbrand filter.ā€ I didn't even know we needed one, but apparently we did—and hers is amazing.

Now, Serena is off exploring internships and diving into her own career path. Spoiler: it doesn’t involve working for me forever. Rude.

So here I am, about to take over the social media reins… and I have some feelings. I hardly post on my own accounts, I dread being on camera (that’s a lie, I am happy to be the star of the show 😜), and—real talk—I have no clue whether music is a mandatory feature in these things. Is silence still a vibe?

I know social media is important for business, and I genuinely love seeing other people’s posts. So I’m giving this a go. It may not be perfect, polished, or filtered just right, but I’m leaning into the chaos and hoping our followers will stick around through this learning curve.

Consider this my official launch into a new adventure—equal parts awkward and optimistic. Grace appreciated. Unfollows… please reconsider.
